Updates:

1. On Tuesday Nov. 29 there is a webinar for parents and guardians of elementary school students on EQAO if interested. “Register for this free live webinar and learn about EQAO assessment results and Ontario’s large-scale assessment program at the elementary school level. EQAO will review highlights from the 2021–2022 assessment results. The session will also highlight how the primary (Grade 3) and junior (Grade 6) EQAO assessments have been modernized. The session will be approximately 45 minutes and will be followed by a live Q&A with EQAO staff.”

3. On Wednesday November 30th starting at 5 pm and goes to 8 pm, there is a Build a Dream Career Discovery Expo at Bingemans in Kitchener.

“This event is geared towards women and girls in Grades 7 to 12, and admission is free for students and their parents or caregivers. Attendees can learn more about careers in STEM, skilled trades, emergency response, entrepreneurship and leadership, meet with employers, and take part in hands-on activities. 4. Please remind your children of some safety procedures if they are walkers. For example, stay on the sidewalk, be aware of the cars, stay off the roads, walk opposite traffic while on the sidewalk – if possible, etc.

Sometimes, there are very quick drivers on streets in this area and children should always be aware of their surroundings.
