Due to the weather, the school will be closed today, February 2nd, 2015. All buses and programs are canceled for today.

The school will be open to staff to work on completion of the Ontario Report Card and other Professional Development items but there will be no classes for students today. Classes resume Monday, February 2nd.

Due to the current weather conditions ALL SCHOOL BUSES, TAXIS AND SPECIAL EDUCATION ROUTES in Wellesley, Wilmot, Woolwich and North Dumfries Townships are cancelled for the Waterloo Region District School Board
The following schools dependent on Transportation are Closed for the Day: Floradale, Linwood, WaterlooOxford D.S.S.
ALL evening RENTAL PERMITS at these schools are CANCELLED
TRANSPORTATION IN ALL OTHER AREAS IS OPERATING AND SCHOOLS ARE OPEN.
All Extended Day Child Care programs are OPEN.

Franklin Public School in Kitchener will be open on Thursday, January 8, 2015. The school was closed for two days due to flooding, caused by a burst sprinkler pipe. We thank everyone for their patience as we worked to get the school ready to reopen.

Franklin Public School in Kitchener will remain closed on Wednesday, January 7, 2015. The school was closed today due to flooding, caused by a burst sprinkler pipe.
