Our staff was very engaged in learning more about how to Teach “Learning through Problem-solving”.  I am including photos of our session on Friday morning to show the amount of thinking and collaboration it can take to do this Grade 5 Math problem.  Try solving it with your family.  Whiteboards are such a great way to do and show student thinking.
