ESNS Elementary School Nutrition ServicesWelcome to the YMCA School Age Youth Development program. We are located in many public schools around Waterloo Region. We offer a quality program by qualified staff, for youth in grades 3 – 6 before and/or after school. The YMCA Educational Philosophy consists of a program based on the YMCA Principles of Healthy Child Development which includes: YMCA Values, Development Assets, Developmentally Appropriate programming and Healthy active living. Program planning is participant driven, reflecting on the needs and interests of the group. YMCA staff strive to develop a program full of meaningful experiences and relationship based guidance in a nurturing and caring environment.
