We hope you are enjoying your Thanksgiving long weekend. Here are your reminders and updates.

Reminders:

1. This Tuesday, October 11th is Photo Day. If your child is ill, there will be a retake day on November 15th which they can participate in to ensure that your child is part of the class composite.

2. Please remember to check School-Day regularly if it is not set-up to go to your email. Check spam if you are set up and still not receiving them.

3. Student spirit wear orders are due by this coming Friday.

Updates:

2. The Waterloo Region District School Board (WRDSB) SEA Assistive Technology Team is offering a presentation and drop-in sessions about how the features of Chromebooks and Google Read&Write can be adjusted to meet your child’s needs.

3. In recognition of International Walk to School Month, Franklin students are encouraged to walk, bike or find other active ways to get to school. Walking to school is great for fitness, energy levels and learning.

5. Monday October 24th is a PD Day, there is no school for students.
