Hello Franklin families!
I hope you are enjoying the lovely weekend. Here are your weekly reminders and updates.

1. We have another enrollment count this week. Once again, if you have any children who will be entering their first year of Kindergarten, please register them asap. It is far easier to add a class at this time, then having to restructure classes in the fall after the children have met their teachers. At times it is unavoidable, but getting our numbers as accurate as possible now will help.

2. We have one more Fire Drill to complete before the end of the school year.

3. This Friday is a PD day. There is no school for students.

4. Grade 6 EQAO testing is this week on May 30, 31 and if needed, June 1st.

5. Remember to regularly check the board website for board news. https://www.wrdsb.ca/

6. This is Bike to School Week so if your children are able to, and you allow them to, encourage them to bike or scooter to school this week.

1. Library books must be returned by the end of the day on June 16 so that the librarian can complete year end tasks.

2. Students had their second last fire drill this past week and did a great job.

3. There is a board meeting on Monday at 7 pm. Here is your link if interested in attending: https://www.youtube.com/c/WRDSBVideo/live

Quote of the Week:

“Our children need to know that mistakes are okay, imperfections are normal, and failure is just a step on the path to success.” (L.R. Knost)

Enjoy the rest of your day!!
