Hopefully your week has been engaging, productive and fairly calm. Here are your reminders and updates.

Reminders:

1. The Poinsettia Fundraiser officially ends this Tuesday November 14th.

2. There is no school on Monday November 13th as it is a Professional Development Day for staff. (See previous school day message on this).

3. There are no extended day programs on November 13th.

7. Please help your children get to school on time. We completely understand when there are appointments and unforeseen circumstances, but other than that, students need to be on time for school and there are many, daily, late arrivals. When children arrive late to school it disrupts the teachers who are teaching, the peers – as they want to see who is entering, and it takes up office time. Children also miss out on potential opportunities to participate in various roles/leadership opportunities as many educators provide updates in the morning. Please help your children with time management, as it is an important life skill. School begins at 9:20 am but supervision begins at 9:05.

2. For those who ordered or are ordering poinsettias, pick-up will now be on Wednesday November 29th between 3:45 and 6 pm. Please adjust your calendars accordingly as it is now Wednesday and NOT Thursday. Should you want to support Nutrition for Learning without ordering poinsettia, please go to https://nutritionforlearning.ca/donate/donate-now/ and ‘Fund’ they can

select Franklin Public School and make a direct donation that way.
