Hello Franklin Families,
We hope you are enjoying your weekend. Here are your weekly reminders and updates.

Reminders:

1. Photo Retake Day is Tuesday, Nov 21 in the morning. If your child was absent on photo day they will be sent to have their picture taken.

If you wish to have your child’s photo taken again, please send them to school with their original proof or a note to the teacher to send them for retakes.

2. Report cards are going out on Monday. Please remember that the envelope should be returned to your child’s teacher.

Updates:

1. Pink Day is on Wednesday. Please encourage your children to wear pink even if just a dab of pink.

2. Bullying Prevention and Awareness Week. We have had a group of students prepare posters, announcements, messages, a skit/presentation, etc. They have done a wonderful job! Wednesday will be Pink Day and some assemblies.

3. Grade 5 and 6 students have had an opportunity to play some volleyball. Thank you to the teachers who have made this possible including Mr. Collins, Ms. Bell, and Bradey – Student Teacher.

5. Franklin students practiced a fire drill this past week.

6. Thank you to those who attended the School Council Meeting this past Thursday. There is no meeting in December.
