6. The Stanley Park Eats program and Food Bank of Waterloo Region distribution of food hampers (need proof of address for this one) runs every Wednesday between 11AM and 12PM. Also, every Wednesday and Friday evening Stanley Park serves a hot meal with a hot side from the hut outside the centre from 6:30 PM to 7: 30 PM.
7. Food4Kids is looking for volunteer drivers to deliver to schools across Waterloo Region. Please contact Food4Kids if you are interested in being a volunteer driver. Emily Loro at 519-576-3443 line 5 or reply to this email at emilyloro@food4kidswr.ca

Updates:
1. Report cards are going home this week. Please remember that if you have any questions about them, please reach out to your child’s teacher.
2. The Family Day long weekend is coming up on Monday February 17th. There is no school, nor extended day program, that day. Consider doing a fun family game or activity that day.
3. March Break is approaching quickly. It is from March 10 to 14th this year. There is no school that week.
4. Students (majority of them) enjoyed a Winter Walk Day this past week. Invigorating and challenging for them as they were walking through the snow on the field.
5. Ice fence has been put up on the hill with the dangerous ice slides that seem to come and go depending on the weather.
