Today Franklin welcomed a guest speaker. The classes that were involved with hosting Comic Con, had a chance to meet Comic Guru,
Jennifer Haines from The Dragon comic store.
Jennifer is a certified teacher and entrepreneur with a passion for comics. She opened her first Dragon comic store in 1998 and has grown her magical enterprise to 3 stores!
Jennifer explained the comic making process and shared several of her favourite series. Jennifer inspired the students with her charismatic presentation and left Franklin wanting to either ‘stop, drop and read a comic’ or create another one of their own! What a wonderful way to close out our 2nd annual Comic Con learning adventure!
