Hello Franklin families. We hope you are enjoying your weekend. Here are your reminders and updates.

Reminders:
1. The last instructional day for students is Wednesday June 28th. Summer Break for students begins on Thursday June 29th.

2. Learning continues to the end of the school as teachers continue to use curriculum and intentional practices to move children forward in their learning. Students arriving on time and being present each day, will support their learning.

3. Jump Rope for Heart and Red Day are tomorrow – Monday June 19th!!!

4. If you require Extended Day care for your child/children for next year, please visit https://www.wrdsb.ca/beforeafter/ for more information on how to register.

5. For those who ordered, the last Pizza Day for the year is this Tuesday June 20th.

Updates:
1. There is a Board Committee of the Whole meeting on Monday June 19th if you are interested in attending. It is from 7 to 9 pm and here is the link for you to join: https://www.youtube.com/c/WRDSBVideo/live

2. Free Passes to the EX Available for Students 13 and Under The 2023 Canadian National Exhibition is returning to Toronto from August 18 – September 4.

Families can access the free pass here: https://www.theex.com/school-tickets/

Passes must be downloaded by August 17, 2023. The pass can be used any one day of the CNE and does not include rides, games or food. Children 4 and under are free and do not need the pass.

3. Report Cards go home on Monday June 26th.
