Dear Franklin Families,
As we approach the end of the 2023 year, Sam and I want to thank you so very much for the partnerships that you have enabled us to have by the regular communication you have had with staff when required, encouraging your children to be the best they can be, helping children navigate social situations and reaching out, when assistance is/was required. As we approach the holidays, we want to wish you a wonderful holiday season and hope you have time to connect with family and friends.

We are sending you your reminders and updates today and the next one will be sent out on Sunday January 7th.

Reminders:

1. There is no school for the next two weeks. Students return to school on Jan. 8th.

Updates:

1. The 2023-24 Board Improvement and Equity Plan (BIEP) has now been developed. Each school board is expected to “develop a Student Achievement Plan to support the implementation and achievement of the strategic plan.” The Student Achievement Plan has been incorporated into the BIEP. 3. Various grades, including all of Ks, had the opportunity to perform for families who could make it yesterday. If you did not have the opportunity to attend (as there never seems to be a time that works for all), ask your child if they performed and maybe they can do an in-home concert for you.
