Good morning Franklin Families,

Here are your reminders and updates for this week.

Reminders:

1. Franklin library closes on Friday June 14th for the year. All library books must be returned by this date and any outstanding fees paid by June 21st.

2. As the end of the school year approaches, it is important for students to start bringing things home that they may not need, e.g., winter wear. In the last week, they should start to bring shoes home as well.

3. If your child has medication at school, these will be sent home on the last day of school. If you know that your child will not be present the last day, please make arrangements with the office to pick up their medication earlier.

4. There are still nine days left of school, so please help your children by keeping bedtime routines going and not staying up too late, as it makes children’s days challenging when they are tired.

Updates:

1. Please see the next School-Day message on what our teaching staff for next year looks like at THIS time. Again, everything is tentative until the end of September, early October.

2. Board meeting on Monday June 24 at 7pm. Here is your link:

3. The last day of school is Thursday June 27th. Students will be learning till the end. There may be educational trips still, visitors or special activities and the last day of course, will involve a potential class party, organizing/gathering of materials, cleaning personal space, etc.
