The Breakfast Club is offered 5 days a week in the church directly across the playing field from the school. The Club follows the same schedule as the school. The program will begin on Monday, September 15th. The doors are open at 8:15 a.m. and breakfast is served until 8:45 a.m. When the teachers are on duty at the school at approximately 9:05 a.m., Breakfast Club volunteers supervise the children moving across the playground to the school yard.
This program is available because of the support of Nutrition for Learning, St. Luke’s Lutheran Church and Franklin Public School. Volunteers from these community groups welcome the students, prepare the food, clean-up, supervise and encourage the children to eat a healthy breakfast. Quiet activities after eating are provided and supported.
