3. Thank you to Coach Borris, Coach Collins, Coach Dempster, Coach Wamsley for coaching and leading basketball sessions/team events with our junior students.
4. Pod 5 classes and some Pod 3 classes had an expectations review this past week. We seem to be hearing some racial terms again and would like to nip it before it escalates.
5. Grade ones had Brain Safety presentations this past Monday. They had some great learning.
6. March 31st is a PD Day. There is no school for students that day.
7. Another community event….
Healing Together – Navigating Mental Health – Elmira (March 15) – https://www.wrdsb.ca/wp-content/uploads/Healing-Together-Navigating-Mental-Health-Elmira-March-15.pdf
8. Families are invited to Sunnyside’s Ramadan Iftar Potluck on Thursday, March 20th, 2025 from 7 to 9 pm. We hope this will be an opportunity to build community. See School-Day for details.
